We are working with Wokingham Foodbank to help collecting food donations. The Foodbank already collect from the main supermarkets but we are increasing the coverage:
We are placing bins in convenience stores and cafes to encourage their customers to donate. We then collect the donations and deliver them to the Foodbank.
We currently have bins at the following locations:
- Co-op – Unit 1 Beechey Pl, William Heelas Way, Wokingham RG40 1LQ
- Co-op – Paley Court, Howlett Grove, Queens Rd, Wokingham RG41 1DL
- Co-op – 420 Finchampstead Rd, Finchampstead, Wokingham RG40 3RB
- Kimel Cafe – 120 Evendons Ln, Wokingham RG41 4AT
- Jacksons Cafe – California Country Park, Nine Mile Ride, Finchampstead, Wokingham RG40 4HU
- Stables Cafe – Unit 1 Bridle Rd, Arborfield Green, Reading RG2 9LJ
We are also offering collection bins to individuals who can put them in their gardens to encourage their neighbours and friends to donate. Again, we collect the donations and delivery them to the Foodbank.
