Bank Holiday Monday 3rd May 2027 from 10am-5pm
This is a great family day out, we close Denmark Street to traffic and organise lots of fun activities including:
- A Children’s Funfair
- Children’s Farm
- Train Ride
- Ferret Racing
- Over 150 stalls with:
- All sorts of goodies and entertainment from local traders and charities
- Food vendors selling a wide variety of meals, snacks, ice cream and drinks
- Choirs/Singing Groups
- Children’s Performance Groups
- Street Entertainment
- Bands
- Children’s Entertainment
- Local Dance Groups
- Morris Dancers
- Picnic area in Elms Field
The main stage is in Market Place. Stalls extend down Denmark Street and through The Plaza towards Elms Field where you’ll find the funfair along with other rides and food vendors. There is also an events marquee in Elms Field that will keep you entertained while you enjoy your picnic.

The event is run to raise much needed funds for local charities.
Stall bookings for this event will open around the end of January 2027 – if you’d like to attend you can put yourself on our mailing list here, you’ll also hear when we open bookings for the Wokingham Winter Carnival.
