Now in its second year, the Wokingham Lions Swimathon offers participants a chance to raise funds for their school or favourite charity by swimming in Wokingham’s new 6 lane, 25 meter Carnival Pool.
It’s an event for all ages and swimming abilities in which teams of up to 8 persons can swim in relay and raise money for their favourite cause – over the two events in 2024 and 2025 it’s raised nearly £20,000!
The Swimathon is designed to be a fun event – it’s not a race. Participants are swimming with family, friends or colleagues while raising money for good causes.
