Events

Wokingham Lions Club organises a number of amazing local events throughout the year.

There are big events such as the May Fayre and the Winter Carnival, which not only provide entertainment but also allow local businesses, charities and community groups to raise funds and connect with local people. We also work with other local service groups to organise the annual Wokingham Fireworks display in Cantley Park.

We organise events that allow people to get sponsored for their participation, allowing them to raise funds for their choice of charity – the Wokingham Walk and the Wokingham Lions Swimathon are examples of these.

Finally we have entertainment events including the Wokingham Music Club, #WOKY Comedy Nights and our famous #WOKY Quiz Nights – all designed to give you a good night out while raising funds for the Lions to use to support many local charities.
