Wokingham Lions organise a number large, well-established events with a huge local profile where we’re able to offer a wide variety of cost-effective business advertising and event supporter opportunities.

These events include:

All offer multiple opportunities for sponsorship, from headline sponsor for the whole event to sponsorship of specific elements, including:

  • Social Media: We have a significant following in the local community and you’ll be included in our social media publicity for events. We reach over 87,000 people annually across Facebook, X , Instagram, Threads and LinkedIn with multiple brands including @WokinghamLions, @WokyWinterandMayFayre, @WokinghamMusicClub and @WokinghamWalk. We’d include links/tags to your social media on whichever of these platforms you use.
  • E-Programmes: An online programme of events for the day which will include details/logos of all sponsors, with additional opportunity for adverts. Over 10,000 were downloaded in 2025 across our May Fayre and Winter Carnival events, most from QR code posters around the event.
  • Website: Our websites have over 45,000 visits per year. Event details will be published on specific websites or pages, naming all sponsors and including their website links.
  • Press releases: Your company name can be included in our press releases for events.
  • Banners: Can be positioned around the town and event location to promote an event for several weeks before the event. Sponsors banners and posters can be displayed on the day.
  • Public Address: Sponsors names can be mentioned periodically over the PA.
  • Sponsorship of specific attractions/services at events which can be linked to your company’s business, for example the Main Stage, First Aid Stations, Children’s Farm, Litter Collection, Radio Communications, Signage, Field Marquees – even Ferret racing!
  • Sponsorship of specific community services that the club runs throughout the year, including ReTek (recycling of old laptops), SpecTrek (recycling of old glasses and hearing aids), LionsShare (in collaboration with Wokingham Foodbank) and Message in a Bottle (providing vital medical information in an emergency).
